Uranium miner's shares soar

URANIUM miner ERA says it does not know why its share price has gained more than 20 per cent on Thursday.

URANIUM miner Energy Resources of Australia says it can't explain a 24 per cent jump in its share price.

ERA shares had added eight cents on Thursday to be worth 41 cents at 1500 AEDT, a move so significant the company received a query from market operator ASX.
