Top-end UK property buyers seek extras

AN increasing number of top-end property buyers in the UK are asking for sport and leisure facilities when they consider purchasing.

BRITISH estate agents are seeing a growing demand for top-end properties which have sporting and leisure facilities such as swimming pools, gyms, tennis courts, home cinemas and wine cellars, a study has found.

ONE in six (17 per cent) high-end estate agents surveyed for Direct Line's Select Premier Insurance said that in the last 12 months they had seen an upturn in demand from buyers for properties with sporting and leisure facilities.
