We're not sure why they decided to call it Dimdim. The product's founders hail from the shores of India, so it may have a particular meaning we're just not aware of, but really, all you need to know is this: it's one of the best video conferencing packages that no money can buy. Free video meetings of up to 10 are perfect for small businesses, but if you need more grunt, there are paid packages available as well.

It can be fiddly, especially with the video component, especially for newcomers to conferencing software, but at least you need not pay as you test the waters.

Many people don’t seem to use all that much of Docs, or if they do, it’s usually for storing documents in the cloud or easily sending a document to multiple people without all that tedious mucking about with email attachments, particularly when using mobile email.

However, Docs is much more than document storage. The update to the service back in April added several new features, including real-time collaboration tools that allow you to see what other people are typing into documents as they do it, as well as ways to clearly track changes, and comment on additions. The Drawing Editor (pictured) isn’t bad, either, especially for brainstorming and visual aids.

You could put any wiki software in here (options like Confluence or TikiWiki are in fairly common use as well), but most people will already be familiar with Mediawiki, thanks to its status as the bedrock of Wikipedia.

The advantage of the wiki is that its dead simple to use. It’s most powerful features require a little bit of knowledge about the wiki markup language used for formatting and tagging, but otherwise, its easy to write in, and easy to track changes with, as well. Setting up a Mediawiki can be a little fiddly, but there are a lot of pre-packaged versions that can be installed for you for a modest fee.

Timebridge, while also good for actually holding online meetings, is put to best use as an easy-to-use scheduler. The free flavour of the software allows you to import calendars from Google Calendar, Microsoft Exchange, and a bunch of other places, and will automatically compare with others you invite to meetings, in order to work out the best times.

Paid versions also allow things such as automatic SMS meeting invitations, which is pretty much the pinnacle in lazy, but also completest and efficient, team management.
