Revamped Woolworths program offers customers $500 in discounts each year
Big changes are coming to one part of the Woolworths shopping experience, with bosses bragging customers can save up to $500 a year.
Time-strapped shoppers now have the option of having their groceries delivered in just a matter of hours as Woolworths revamps its Delivery Unlimited program.
In addition, customers who subscribe to the program could potentially save more than $500 a year in delivery fees.
The move comes after Woolworths more than doubled their same day delivery windows for customers in the last year.
The Delivery Unlimited program, launched in 2019, allows Woolworths customers – who pay a monthly or annual subscription fee – access to unlimited free home deliveries on orders over $100, as well as covering the cost of reusable or paper bags.
Woolworths Director of eCommerce Annette Karantoni said the company was “always looking to make it easier to shop for your everyday needs”.
“Delivery Unlimited has been really popular and helped some of our savvy online customers save more than $500 in delivery fees with their subscriptions,” Ms Karantoni said
“We’re now raising the bar to offer even better value with added flexibility and more choice of delivery options for subscribers.
“We’ve invested heavily to improve our online network in recent years and now offer more same day delivery windows than any other supermarket in Australia.
“With this revamp, our subscribers can enjoy the benefits of our same day delivery offer and get even more value from their plan.”
In @woolworths - man who is clearly sleeping rough unable to pay because cash is no longer accepted at Central Park. He was distressed. And then a Woolworths staffer who had finished her shift quietly paid for his food. The corporate head office needs to act like the staff.

The new subscription plan will allow customers to have access to three and five hour same-day windows for free on orders over $100.
In addition, subscribers will get $10 off one hour same-day delivery windows, and $9 off Delivery Now which offers customers delivery in under two hours.
Customers can pay month-to-month or annually for the revamped subscription model.
Woolworths estimates an annual subscriber to Delivery Unlimited midweek, who places an order between $100-$149 each week would stand to save up to $557 each year on delivery and reusable bags.
