IT’S EVERY parent’s worst nightmare: two young children have a meltdown at the supermarket.

But for a British mother, there was a happy ending to what could have become a disastrous family shopping trip.

After her little ones, both of whom are registered blind and have autism, became distressed at the check-out, a quick-thinking staff member came to the rescue.

“This very kind lady decided to help instead of judge,” Wilkins wrote in a Facebook post that has since gone viral.

“She distracted my daughter by letting her scan all my shopping. A dream come true for Holly who loves playing shops.”

The employee is believed to be a store manager named Lin. Good on you Lin, the world could use more people like you.
