The Easter long weekend is upon us. Here’s where you can get your groceries, booze and other essentials - and when.

The Easter long weekend has arrived, with millions of Australians to meet with family and friends over the break.

But the four-day period is also a time where many stores close their doors.

Here’s your handy guide to opening hours for major supermarkets, shopping centres and bottleshops over the next few days.

WOOLWORTHS

• Good Friday (April 15)

All stores closed.

• Easter Saturday (April 16)

All stores are open

• Easter Sunday (April 17)

All stores open in NSW, ACT, WA, NT and TAS

In Victoria most stores are open (excluding Moama).

Most stores in QLD are open except the following: Ayr, Blackwater, Bowen, Charters Towers, Childers, Chinchilla, Kingaroy, Mission Beach, Mt Isa, Pittsworth, Proserpine, Roma and Weipa.

In SA, Rundle Mall and regional stores are open, Adelaide Metropolitan area and Millicent stores are closed.

• Easter Monday (April 18)

All stores open in NSW, ACT, VIC, NT and TAS.

Most stores are open in QLD except the following: Ayr, Blackwater, Bowen, Charters Towers, Childers, Chinchilla, Kingaroy, Mission Beach, Mt Isa, Pittsworth, Proserpine, Roma and Weipa.

Most stores in WA (excluding Esperance and Katanning) and SA (excluding Millicent).

COLES

• Good Friday (April 15)

All stores closed.

Vasse, Busselton, Dunsborough, Margaret River, Eaton Fair and Busselton Central in WA are open.

Mt Barker, Murray Bridge Green and Victor Harbor in SA are Open from 8am-8pm

• Easter Saturday (April 16)

All stores are open.

• Easter Sunday (April 17)

All stores open in ACT, WA and NT.

In NSW all Sydney metro stores are closed. Regional stores are open.

Most stores are open in VIC except Croydon North and Little Knox.

All stores are open in QLD except Goondiwindi, Mt Isa and Ayr.

In SA all Adelaide metro stores closed except Adelaide CBD stores which are open 11am-5pm. Regional stores open from 8am to 8pm.

• Easter Monday (April 18)

All stores open in NSW, WA, SA, NT and TAS

Most stores are open in VIC (excluding Melton West) and QLD (excluding Goondiwindi, Mt Isa and Ayr).

KMART

• Good Friday (April 15)

All stores closed.

• Easter Saturday (April 16)

All stores are open in ACT, SA, WA, TAS and NT.

Most stores are open in NSW (excluding Lismore), VIC (excluding Brandon Park) and Queensland (excluding Toombul).

• Easter Sunday (April 17)

All stores open in ACT, TAS and NT.

Most stores are closed in NSW, except the following: Goulburn, Griffith, Bowral, Forster South, Gorokan, Salamander Bay, Port Macquarie, Coffs Harbour, Toomina, Nowra, Batemans Bay, Shellharbour, Bega, Ulladulla, Bateau Bay, Woy Woy, Erina, Broadway, Bathurst and Katoomba)

In Victoria most stores are open (excluding Brandon Park).

In Queensland all stores are open except the following: Toombul, Bowen, Charters Towers, Ayr, Roma, Chinchilla, Goondiwindi and Mount Isa.

All stores are open in SA except the following: Firle, Tea Tree, Munno Para, Ingle Farm, Kurralta Park, West Lakes, Port Noarlunga, Port Adelaide, Marion and Churchill.

In WA all stores are open (excluding Esperance).

All stores open in ACT, SA, TAS and NT.

Most stores are open in NSW (excluding Lismore) and VIC (excluding Brandon Park).
