It is one of Australia’s most popular online shopping events – and now, Click Frenzy is tempting us with a brand new sale.

In a July first, the brand new “Julove” sale commenced at 7pm on July 21, and will end at midnight tonight.

So far, the most popular brands have been MyDeal, Catch, Shaver Shop, Centre Com, Bose, Adidas, Under Armour, Dyson, Harris Scarfe and Canningvale.

Click Frenzy managing director Grant Arnott said the sale had proved a hit so far.

“Shopping for the home is dominating Julove, with the homewares and kitchenware deals on MyDeal and Catch seeing big results, as well as Bose, Dyson, Harris Scarfe and Canningvale,” he said.

“Just outside the top 10, Forty Winks is rocking with their fantastic any mattress for the price of a single deal, and winter warrior Adairs is also well in the mix.”

The event will run for a whopping 53 hours in total with more than 1000 deals on offer from more than 150 brands.

There will also be the ever-popular Go Nuts deals, which will see 99 per cent knocked off the regular price of some coveted items.

Members will have the chance to score those “Go Gaga” deals, with $12 Apple iPhone 11s, $5 GoPros, $6 Nikon DSLR cameras and $16 Apple MacBook Air laptops still on the table today.

Categories will include electrical and home office, fashion, food, wine and liquor, home and decor, health and beauty, kids, toys and pets, travel, outdoor, auto and BBQ and sports and leisure.

A huge range of local and international brands are on board this year, including Adidas, Alannah Hill, Bardot, Big4 Holiday Parks, Bose, Catch Group, Circles Life, City Beach, Clarks, Digidirect, Dotti, Dyson, Elwood, Forty Winks, Fossil, Glassons, Gorman, Hairhouse, Harris Scarfe, HP, Hush Puppies, Jack London, Jay Jays, L’Oreal Paris, Lavazza Australia, Michael Hill, MJ Bale, My Deal, Oz Hair & Beauty, Peter Alexander, Petstock, Portmans, Rebook, Shaver Shop, Smiggle, Surfstitch, Ugg Express, Under Armour and Urban Outfitters.

Click Frenzy managing director Grant Arnott said it was the perfect time for a sale.

“It’s the roughest year of our lives, and everyone needs a little Julove. Following the huge success of our Mayhem event in May, we’re presenting Click Frenzy Julove as a great warm up for our renowned November flagship event,” he said.

“We have ensured that Aussie shoppers will find deals from all the brands they love, while also discovering up-and-coming brands that are offering stunning deals this winter.

“Mayhem showed us it’s clear that shoppers are mega excited about online shopping and we’re thrilled to be adding a new event to the retail calendar. Although we were in the midst of a pandemic, we absolutely smashed our records. We’re so excited to see Australians get behind retailers once again, while scoring themselves some incredible deals from top retailers.”

WHAT ARE THE CLICK FRENZY SALES?

What began as an Australian equivalent to the US’s Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales, Click Frenzy has evolved to be one of the country’s biggest sale events.

It is now in its eighth year, and the biggest sales are usually Click Frenzy Mayhem in May and Click Frenzy Go Wild in November.

The sales are often divided into two categories. In the past, the official Click Frenzy website has hosted deals like $12 iPhones, $17 Macbook Air laptops and even $3000 off the luxury Amarok ute. These deals are often strictly limited and have previously crashed the website with bargain hunters eager to take advantage.

The most recent crash occurred in May and left shoppers frustrated – but despite the glitch, the sales campaign said it smashed its previous record for traffic in the first hour, up 70 per cent from last year.

The other side of the Click Frenzy sales is that separate websites and retailers also offer sales on their platforms, giving shoppers access to a range of products from fashion to tech and homewares.

According to the Click Frenzy website, the event works with participating retailers to “bring you all the best deals and exclusive offers from throughout the retail industry” and centralises them into the one online shopping experience.

“Shoppers can browse through thousands of deals and once they’re ready to make a purchase they will be linked through to the relevant retailer to complete their purchases,” it says.
