Christmas trading hours: How late Westfield shopping centres will stay open

Shopping giant Westfield has revealed its late-night opening hours as last-minute buyers descend on stores nationwide for Christmas.

In Sydney, Westfield will keep doors open at some outlets as late as 10pm for the final week of shopping before Christmas.

Meanwhile, in Victoria and Queensland, some city shopping centres will stay open even later, with doors shutting at midnight.

Group head of marketing Elena Petroska said centres were already “buzzing” ahead of the Christmas holiday season.

The opening times for Westfield shopping centres nationwide are below:

NSW:

Thursday, December 14

• Westfield Bondi Junction, Burwood, Chatswood, Miranda, Parramatta, Sydney and Sydney Central Plaza will trade from 9.30am – 10pm
• Westfield Eastgardens, Hornsby, Penrith and Warringah Mall will trade from 9am – 10pm
• Westfield Hurstville, Liverpool, Mt Druitt, Kotara and Tuggerah will trade from 9am – 9pm
