Bread rolls recalled over ‘dangerous’ metal pieces

IF YOU bought any of these bread rolls from Woolworths, Coles or IGA, you’ll be wanting to return them for a full refund.

SEVERAL popular brands of bread rolls have been recalled in NSW following fears they may have metal fragments in them.

Bread rolls, hot dog and hamburger buns manufactured by Quality Bakers Australia Pty Limited and sold at Coles, Woolworths, IGA and convenience stores in NSW and the ACT are being pulled off shelves. The products have a best before date of October 2, 2016.

Customers are advised against eating the rolls and can return them to the place of purchase for a full refund.

The recall comes a day before the AFL and NRL grand final weekend begins, and follows a similar recall of Aldi rolls in July.
