SUPER BOWL ads are renowned for being the best of the best. We’ve rounded up some of the best spectacles so far this year.

IT’S that time of the year again when a bunch of padded Americans run around on a football field in front of more than 110 million viewers.

Even if you’re not that into the start-and-stop action of gridiron football, the spectacles of the Super Bowl half-time shows (Janet Jackson’s nipple slip comes to mind) means there’s something for everyone.

Which means it’s the perfect platform for dozens of brands to get their products in front you. But there’s a very high standard for Super Bowl ads — they’ve become part of the lure of the biggest game on the US calendar.

The ads are usually funny, thoughtful or feature loads of celebrities. They cost millions of dollars to make and air and they’re usually for one night only.

With the 2015 Super Bowl less than two weeks away, here are the best of the ads so far (more will come):
