Breakfast TV guest accidentally swears during segment

A high-profile TV guest has left hosts red faced after dropping a hilariously rude blunder on air – not once but three separate times.

A celebrity chef has made a hilarious on-air gaffe on UK breakfast television program This Morning.

Italian-born foodie and media personality Gino D’Acampo – who is well known for his cooking shows and cookbooks in Europe – appeared on the program to discuss truffles with co-hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield.

But things took an X-rated turn when he struggled to pronounce the English words “inhale it”.

Mr D’Acampo’s awkward mistake began when he asked Ms Willoughby to smell a truffle he had brought to the studio.

“Not many people like truffle because of the smell,” he told her.

“For people at home and you don’t like it, do this experiment. You close your eyes, and what I want you to do is just analate. Analate as much as you can.

“The more you do that, analate …”

The co-hosts then stopped the chef and corrected him while clearly trying to contain their laughter.

“Stop, stop,” Mr Schofield pleaded as his co-host doubled over with her face in her hands.

Not surprisingly, the chef’s embarrassing mistake caused a sensation on social media, with Twitter users rushing to weigh in on the segment.

“Gino Anal’ing truffle on This Morning is the highlight of my morning,” one fan posted, while another said: “Gino D’campo strikes again.”

“I have #ThisMorning on in the background. Did Gino say ‘anal it’ instead of ‘inhale’,” another asked, while one person wrote: “The more you analate” um … Gino.”

However, it’s not the only TV blunder to go viral recently.

Just last week UK broadcaster Channel 4 apologised after staffers “misheard” Prime Minister Boris Johnson before posting a clip of a speech he made on Twitter.

The clip included subtitles of the leader’s words – but at one point, there was an error with Channel 4’s caption.

It claimed Mr Johnson said: “I’m in favour of having people of colour come to this country, but I think we should have it democratically controlled.”

But he actually said, “I’m in favour of having people of talent come to this country …”

And over the weekend, news reporter Alex Bozarjian, who works for an NBC affiliate in Savannah in the US, went viral after calling out a man who groped her on live TV as she was reporting on a local running event.

The incident was caught on camera and the woman was visibly shocked as she continued her coverage while staring in the direction of the man.

She later took to Twitter to slam his actions, sharing a clip of the attack and posting: “To the man who smacked my butt on live TV this morning: You violated, objectified, and embarrassed me. No woman should EVER have to put up with this at work or anywhere! Do better.”
