INFANT formula maker Bellamy’s Australia has posted a fourfold jump in full-year profit to $38.3 million as it meets strong domestic and Chinese demand for organic baby food.

The Tasmanian-based company made $244.6 million in revenue during the year to June 30, up 95 per cent from $125.3 million on the prior year, and will pay a fully franked final dividend of 7.80 cents a share, up 2.86 cents from a year ago.

The dramatic increase in revenue is underpinned by new supply chain deals that has boosted Bellamy’s product volumes, allowing it to better meet strong domestic and Chinese demand for high quality, Australian made organic baby food and formula, chief executive Laura McBain said in a statement to the ASX on Friday.
