Housing investor credit growth subdued

CREDIT to housing investors rose 0.7 pct in August. With a 0.6 pct rise in July, it was the slowest two-month increase since Sep-Oct 2013.

CREDIT to housing investors posted its slowest rise over two months for almost two years.

FIGURES released on Wednesday by the Reserve Bank of Australia showed housing investors owed major lenders $565.2 billion in August, up by 0.7 per cent from July.
