Philippines, Chile tempt Aussie travellers
PASSENGER numbers are on the rise at Sydney Airport, aided by a lift in the number of Australians travelling to Chile and the Philippines.
THE number of passengers passing through Sydney Airport rose nearly four per cent in September, aided by a rise in Australians travelling to the Philippines and Chile.
SYDNEY Airport's total passenger numbers rose 3.9 per cent to 3.3 million in September, with international travellers up 5.2 per cent and domestic up by 3.3 per cent.
