A2 Milk raises $NZ40 in share placement

A2 Milk sold 58.8 million shares at 68 NZ cents apiece in an over-subscribed placement that raised a total $NZ40 million.

A2 Milk has successfully completed a $NZ40 million ($A36.73 million) share placement to help pay for its planned expansion in China, the UK and United States.

THE firm sold 58.8 million shares at 68 NZ cents apiece in the over-subscribed placement, pricing them at a 5.6 per cent discount to the 72 NZ cents they were at when placed in a trading halt on the New Zealand stock exchange on Wednesday.
