Australia’s property market parodied in a terrifyingly relevant video

THIS parody video may poke fun but the Australian property market is proving to be one big joke ... a bad and very expensive joke.

“And then Mr Turnbull said, ‘Just get your parents to help you out,’ lol.”

IT SHOULD be clear by now that the Australian property market is proving to be one big joke ... a very expensive joke.

The ‘A comedy love letter to Sydney’ skit may poke fun but it shows the struggle is real! Really real.

With an increasing amount of young Aussies desperately trying to get their foot in the property door, and struggling to afford a studio apartment in Sydney or Melbourne, the side-splitting skit is all too relatable.

The struggle is real.
The struggle is real.

The parody video kicks off at an auction at “number one Backwater Road in Shithole Park south-west-west Sydney”.

Despite the less than desirable location, the residence is described as “a very exciting property. Mainly for two reasons — one it’s in Sydney and two it’s available.”

It’s sad because it’s true ... and things only go downhill from there.

Michael Demosthenous and Stephen James King are the guys behind this hilarious spoof.

“Michael and I wanted to poke a little fun at Australia’s obsession with the housing market and the hopelessness many in our generation feel about buying their way into it,” Stephen James King told news.com.au.
