SMALL groups, immersive experiences and unique lodgings to suit everyone.

When was the last time you let your curiosity guide you to something new?

You know, following your heart, exploring new places, meeting new people, learning new things, and reminding yourself why the world is such a wonderful place. Whether it was a day ago, a year ago, or too long to recall, it’s time to reignite your passion.

Collette is North America’s longest-running tour operator. It’s known for innovation and it’s continuing to lead the way in travel trends with the launch of its small group touring line, Explorations.

This line of more than 20 tours enables travellers to experience unique and immersive experiences that take them into the heart of a destination with an average of just fifteen guests on tour.

Itineraries focus on active and very local experiences, as well as culturally-reflective accommodation and enhanced culinary offerings. Many tours include the ch“It’s Your Choice” option whereby guests can select the experiences which they find the most appealing.

“Over the last 100 years, we’ve learned a lot about what works on tour and we’re excited to add this range of product to Collette’s offerings,” said James Hewlett, head of marketing at Collette Australia.

“Whether it’s hunting for truffles with hound dogs in southern France, a home-hosted meal in Morocco, or an overnight in a glass igloo in northern Finland, our guests can now connect to destinations in an entirely different way. We are confident that Australian travellers will embrace this exciting, new way of discovering a destination.”

For example, ignite your senses with the colours of Morocco. You could dine at Rick’s Cafe, the iconic saloon from the 1942 film Casablanca, explore the holy city of Fez, make your way through the Sahara Desert and ride a camel to a nomadic camp in the desert where you’ll spend the night.

Or if you’ve never been to Central America, why not experience the magic of nature in Costa Rica? You can visit a green turtle research station, sample the local produce at a pineapple plantation visit and zipline through the trees or hike across lava fields. Enjoy the nighttime symphony at an eco-lodge tucked away in the Sarapiqui Rainforest between exploring sandy white beaches and jungle safaris.

If food is your thing, explore authentic Italian towns tucked away in the countryside of Tuscany and Umbria in Italy. You can visit family-owned wineries and have lunches in charming country homes in between exploring medieval towns like Siena and exploring the old city of Assisi.

There truly is something for everyone.
