THE introduction of Australia's newest most eligible bachelor to our screens has led to a flood of "ex-girlfriends" emerging from obscurity, all claiming to have dated him.

Tim Robards, Australia's very first Bachelor, has been built up by the Ten Network as the dreamy, outdoors-loving chiropractor from Newcastle who has had his heart broken in the past and is now finally ready to go on the quest to find true love.

Only problem is, too many women are now claiming to know the "real" bachelor, in one form or another.

Since the dating show's debut on Sunday night, a number of women have dared to tell their own tale about Robards - Robards the player, the topless waiter, the male model, the party boy.

Four Sydney women all claiming to have dated the 30-year-old hunk have revealed details of their relationship to Cleo magazine.

"He's got the biggest penis I've ever seen and sex was like being in a porno. I'm not even joking," one ex-girlfriend - who is also a model - spilled to the magazine.

"I find it very hard to believe he is honestly looking for love and possible marriage … I think he is 100 per cent a playboy, definitely."

Another claims she thought Robards was "too nice" when they first started seeing each other, however after sleeping with him the phone quickly stopped ringing.

"He's slept with half of the Sydney social scene," one socialite told "He's just doing this to get a bigger profile, not a wife! It's pretty obvious."

The Sunday Telegraph's Caroline Marcus also claims to have dated Robards, and was happy to share this with her Twitter followers during Sunday night's debut episode.

Robards also reportedy dated TV personality Laura Csortan, although she has chosen not to comment on their relationship.

Photos surfaced online earlier this week of a semi-nude Robards wearing a sailor hat from his days as a topless waiter with male model agency Topless Events.

The buff entertainer was apparently one of the company's most sought-after assets and a favourite on the party scene.

"Tim was our enduring favourite," Tiffany Farrington, director of the Sydney-based Social Diary network for PR told Fairfax.

"I hired the Topless Events boys - and still do - for all my events and Tim more than any of the models because everyone loved him. He had personality on top of the great looks; a genuine nice guy", she said, adding that he was the poster boy for their annual Christmas costume parties and would dress up as anything from a Ken doll to a farmer.

For the 17 bachelorettes now left in the race for Robard's heart on Ten's new series, we can only hope he has left his stripping days behind him for good.
