Rumours of an on-set feud have emerged, and now actor Walton Goggins appears to have all but confirmed there’s bad blood.

'White Lotus' star Aimee Lou Wood blasts 'SNL' for mocking her in 'mean' parody

White Lotus star Walton Goggins has appeared to confirm his feud with Aimee Lou Wood after praising an SNL skit that infamously mocked his co-star.

Rumours of a feud between Goggins and Wood were first sparked after fan noticed the actors — who played love interests Rick and Chelsea — aren’t following each other on Instagram anymore.

Fans even remarked that Goggins may have blocked Wood because her comments on previous posts have disappeared from his page, while his still appear on hers.

Now, fuel has been added to the fire after the actor praised a Saturday Night Live (SNL) sketch mocking his White Lotus co-star in numerous posts on Instagram which were spotted by fans.

Goggins, 53, reposted the “White POTUS” skit over the weekend sharing praise for the controversial scene.

He also commented on the show’s official Instagram page, sharing publicly how hilarious he thought the skit was.

“Hahahahahhahaha Amazzzingggg,” he wrote before adding in his own post that the sketch was “smashing”.

Fans rushed to lash out at the actor on social media, with one tweeting: “Really disingenuous and kind of gross framing of what happened.”

“This just cruel & nasty. Poor woman,” remarked another, while a third said the cast has been “so messy” this year.

His reaction notably came after Wood, 31, criticised the “mean” and “unfunny” portrayal on the late night show.

Wood spoke out on Instagram after the skit went to air.

The parody of her White Lotus character Chelsea included faking a bizarre British accent and wearing protruding prosthetic teeth in an attempt to mimic Wood’s appearance.

“Yes, take the piss for sure — that’s what the show is about – but there must be a cleverer, more nuanced, less cheap way?” questioned the British actress on Instagram.

Wood insisted that she was not “thin skinned”: “I actually love being taken the piss out of when it’s clever and in good spirits,” she wrote.

“I don’t mind caricature — I understand that’s what SNL is, but the rest of the skit was punching up and I/Chelsea was the only one punched down on,” she added. “At least get the accent right, seriously. I respect accuracy, even if it’s mean.”

The same day as the skit went viral and sparked controversy around the world, Wood was spotted, appearing to be in tears on the streets of London.

Numerous celebrities including Georgia May Jagger, Cara Delevingne, and Jameela Jamil have all spoken up in Wood’s defence since the skit aired. May Jagger called the sketch “low” and “misjudged.”

While the show was airing, Wood spoke openly about how the positive reaction to her teeth had been somewhat comforting to her following years of torment growing up.

“It feels so lovely. A real full-circle moment after being bullied for my teeth, forever,” she said during an appearance on The Jonathan Ross Show.
