This is the second clip released online of the upcoming series of the hit HBO fantasy series, gearing fans up for a return of their favourite dose of impossible intrigue and wild savagery.

The third season returns on March 31 and is expected to be based on the first half of George R.R. Martin’s A Storm of Swords - the third novel of his Song of Ice and Fire bestselling series.

The action-packed teaser clip comes just weeks after HBO released a series of photos from the highly anticipated third season.

Fans can expect the return of their favourite characters Jon Snow, Daenerys Targaryen and Tyrion Lannister, along with newcomers Wildling leader Mance Rayder, Lady Olenna the Queen of Thorns and a couple of fire-breathing dragons.

With more than 750,000 views in under 24 hours, safe to say fans are excited.
