THE first challenge tonight will see contestants pair up and put in the middle of an "actual murder scene".

THAT thing with the train last week. Didn't go so well. And I only saw it in the recap at the start of The One tonight. Not the first time public transport hasn't worked out though.

Tonight's episode sounds more promising the Ones are going to be put in the middle of an "actual murder scene".

That's their first challenge. The second involves four couples. Andrew calls it the Love Match. I'm no psychic and I can figure this one: they live in the suburbs, they answer ads, they take their clothes off. Andrew's like, apart from the murder, it's going to be a fun night.

My early favourites here include Katrina and Heidi. Katrina's an intuitive specialist. But also a life strategist. So am I, Katrina, I tell her through the television, confident she can hear me.

Katrina should do well here, because her spirit guides told her they'll show her what she needs to see.

She finds she doesn't like the energy in the house where the woman was murdered by her former boyfriend, and this I think only demonstrates how intuitive she is.

Heidi's a psychic medium and healer. "I am an empath," she says. "I experience in my own body and emotions what the other person is experiencing." So either Heidi's going to go upstairs and strangle someone to death with a feather duster or ... let's not think about the alternative.

But they don't have as much luck yes, I'm calling it luck with the Love Match. One of the psychics remarks after getting none of the four right that he may have done better matching them with their dead grandmother.

Go on then do it, I instruct him via the TV. I know he hears me but they've run out of time.

As Heidi says, nerves block intuition. That's just the way with this work.
