The Simpsons producer claims to have predicted the future with 2015 episode
A Simpsons producer has claimed the show predicted yet another future event, as he shared a photo from the eerily accurate 2015 episode.
The Simpsons has done it again.
Simpsons producer Al Jean pointed out on Wednesday that the hit Fox show “predicted the future” once again, New York Post reports.
Following Donald Trump’s announcement that he would run for president in 2024, the producer tweeted a clip from a 2015 episode featuring Homer Simpson and a presidential campaign sign reading “Trump 2024.”
“@TheSimpsons As predicted in 2015,” tweeted the producer.

Another Trump-related clip comes from the episode “Bart to the Future” which aired in 2000. In it, the audience sees President Lisa Simpson talking about Trump’s presidency, NME reported.
“As you know, we’ve inherited quite a budget cut from President Trump,” says a grown-up Lisa in the snippet Jean shared on Twitter.
Mr Trump made his campaign announcement after several months of speculation on whether or not he would seek the presidency for the third time.
“In order to make America great and glorious again, I am tonight announcing my candidacy for president of the United States,” the billionaire said. “America’s golden age is just ahead.”
This is not the first time The Simpsons has seemingly predicted the future.
According to the show, it predicted the death of Queen Elizabeth as well as the resignation of embattled UK prime minister Liz Truss.
Previously, the show also purportedly predicted the Capitol riot as well as Russia’s invasion of Ukraine and the Covid pandemic.
