The bizarre questions Resurrection fans are dying to know
IT’S the show taking audiences by storm. As Australia watched the second episode of Resurrection last night, fans have plenty of questions. Here are the best.
IT IS the much-hyped show that has taken Twitter by storm and as Australia watched the second episode of Resurrection last night, fans are asking the big questions.
The show, which sees the residents of small-town Arcadia, Missouri shocked and mystified after their loved ones start returning from the dead, drew a whopping 1.91 million Aussie viewers last week.
And while it may have earned the title of the week’s top rating show, it’s also drawn some bizarre questions from the Twittersphere.
The first episode opened with Jacob Langston waking up in a rice field in rural China after drowning 32 years earlier.
It ended with whistling man Caleb Richards who had died years earlier, returning to Arcadia to see his now grown up daughter Elaine.
Last night’s episode will undoubtedly raise even more questions with the opening of Jacob’s tomb and the bizarre actions of Caleb
The show, which asks you to suspend everything you know about life and death, has also raised other questions such as why Jacob is still wearing the same clothes and how an eight-year-old who has come back to life 32 years later can amazingly work a smartphone.
But that’s not all, fans also want to know why a small boy eats so much?
For all those still wondering just what is going on in Resurrection here are some of the questions viewers have asked so far.
Why does Jacob wear the same clothes for so long?
Not only does he wake up soggy and wet in a rice field in a rural town in China, but he wears the same clothes on his return home to his parents and during his hospital stay. And more to the point, were they even washed?
Is ANYBODY gonna change this chiles clothes???Damn he deserves at LEAST a sponge bath! #Ressurection
What is the big deal with opening Jacob’s tomb?
Surely his parents would want to know what or who lies in the tomb where their son was buried 32 years ago.
WHO DID THEY BURY IN THE COFFIN I CANT WAIT A WEEK #Ressurection
I don't understand why the dad doesn't want them to open the tomb?!? #Ressurection I'm suspicious of him. He maybe hiding something.
Why does an eight-year-old eat the equivalent of an Olympic athlete?
We know kids are growing people but the amount of food Jacob consumes would send most people to an early grave or maybe back from it in his case.
Jacob came back from the dead after 32yrs, so he's hungry. Making up for lost times. #Ressurection
How does a kid dead for 32 years know how to work a smartphone?
While it’s hardly rocket science, the ease with which Jacob takes agent Bellamy’s smartphone and starts playing Donkey Kong seems a little unbelievable considering such devices weren’t invented when he was alive the first time.
Still trying to figure out how that kid in #Ressurection, who died 32 years ago, worked an iPhone like a champ.
Died 32 years ago and came back knowing how to use a touch screen device? #Ressurection
a kid who died many years ago wakes up and expertly uses a smart phone. sure. #ressurection
Kid comes back after 32 years and could use an iphone instantly. #ressurection is already unimpressing me.
How can we believe someone can come back from the dead and not have aged a bit?
Both Jacob and Caleb haven’t aged a bit since they died and have slipped straight back into the lives they once led.
I couldn't imagine someone I know who had died so many years ago just showing up at my door #Ressurection
What is with the creepy whistling from Caleb?
In the first show, viewers are left wondering who he is but are more mystified by the whistle especially when Jacob is around.
Um can I say creepiest part of resurrection is the hobo looking whistling man?
why are you whistling no that is creepy stop #Resurrection
Why can’t US viewers spell the show correctly?
Well, even some of us got excited over the show, but it got US viewers in such a spin the incorrect spelling of the show was trending on Twitter.
Last week the hashtag #Ressurection trended, which was great for ABC, but kinda bad for the American education system.
Finally, is Jacob really an alien?
Fans can’t work out why a kid can suddenly come back from the dead and have only one explanation.
Seriously tho, aliens who wanna take over the world Village of the Damned style. #Resurrection
I’ll honestly be disappointed if this show isn’t about aliens trying to take over the world. #Resurrection
