The Bachelor: Blake Garvey slams ‘attention-seeking, lying’ Sam Frost
IN AN unlikely Bachelor first, Blake Garvey has lashed out at ex-fiancee Sam Frost. Christmas gift perhaps? Read it here.
THE show might be over — but the drama isn’t.
The Bachelor’s Sam Frost has slammed her former flame Blake Garvey, telling Cleomagazine she was dumped during a meeting with the program’s producers.
“We went from having a chat about what to expect after the finale aired to Blake saying, ‘I want to break up with Sam’,” the 25-year-old said.

Now Garvey has hit back on Twitter, saying the story is a desperate grab for attention.
“Just read some lies about me in Cleo. One day the truth will come out. In the meantime, ppl need to stop using my name to get attention,” the 32-year-old tweeted.
He also accused Frost of “lying to defame & gain attention.”

@jilltheone Because I actually have regard for people's feelings & reputation. When have I ever badmouthed anyone? Better to lead by example

Meanwhile, broken-hearted Frost has revealed she has struggled since the humiliating split.
“I lost myself, I lost my cool,” Frost told Cleo. “I was emotionally, mentally and physically exhausted and I cracked.”
In the last episode of the ratings juggernaut, Garvey proposed to Frost with a $58,000 diamond ring in South Africa.
But days before the final episode went to air, it was revealed that Garvey had dumped his bride-to-be and left her heartbroken.
The multitude of Aussie women who spent 10 weeks swooning over Garvey suddenly turned on him, labelling the Bachelor a “jerk” and “douche” on social media.

“I’ve had my heart broken throughout this,” he told Carrie Bickmore from The Project, “because I’ve said goodbye to many, many incredible women — all of them, now.”
But viewers didn’t appreciate his sentiment, quickly calling him a “love rat”.
After the show ended, the shocks kept rolling as Garvey confirmed rumours he was dating the show’s second runner-up, 26-year-old Louise Pillidge.
The couple sat down with Woman’s Dayto set the record straight about their relationship as they planned a future together in Perth.
Pillidge said she was planning to move from Brisbane to be with her new squeeze.
Garvey said he broke up with Frost because he knew he had strong feelings for Pillidge.
“What ... didn’t end (after the taping) was the love I felt for Lou and as much as I tried to file it away, it kept growing,” he said.
“It wasn’t fair to carry on with everything. It wasn’t fair to Sam, and while she didn’t know it, it wasn’t fair to Lou, or myself. We had interviews booked, it was about to be announced on television that Sam and I were engaged and I just didn’t feel the romantic love I was supposed to.”
After he ended things with Frost, Garvey wrote a five page love letter to his new love which he sent to her dad and asked him to pass it on.
“That letter was one of the most overwhelming things I had ever experienced,” said Pillidge, who read the letter a few days before the finale aired.
Frost’s version of the breakup is different to the one Garvey shared on The Project in October.
The former real estate agent said he broke up with Frost “in person and just talked over it”.
