Bachelor star Ellie Rolfe was groped on the bottom by a teenager while she was on a morning walk in what she called a ‘scary’ incident.
A teenager has fronted court after groping a Bachelor star’s bottom while she was on a morning walk.
Ellie Rolfe was shocked when the 17-year-old boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, grabbed her bottom at 7.30am on April 30.
The teen appeared at the Geraldton Children’s Court on Tuesday where he pleaded guilty to indecently assaulting Ms Rolfe, who appeared on last year’s Channel 10 dating show.
The court heard how Ms Rolfe was walking in Wandina when the boy rode past her on his bicycle, The West reports
He said “hello” before circling back and groping Ms Rolfe’s buttock with his right hand.
Shocked, Ms Rolfe dropped her phone and told the teen to “f*** off”.
The incident caused Ms Rolfe to post an emotional message on her Instagram page, telling her followers she didn't’ feel safe on a “morning walk in broad daylight”.
“No words! Like WTF! How is that OK in your head! Huge mental health advocate and you never know what someone is going through BUT this is just utter disrespect and scary!” Ms Rolfe said.
“It is never OK to inappropriately touch anyone without consent.”
The teen handed himself into police a week after the incident telling officers he “made a mistake”.
The teen was referred to court conferencing. If he completes this, no punishment will be imposed.

The case was adjourned until September 24 and the teen’s bail was extended.
Ms Rolfe caught the eye of Luke Bateman on The Bachelor and the couple remained together after the show.
However they split shortly after with Mr Bateman confirming the split earlier this year.
“Ellie and I have separated and would like to keep our relationship private,” he said in a statement.
“Ellie has a soul that lights up every room she walks into and I will sorely miss it in my life.”
