A STUNTMAN has died after falling from an eight-metre-high balcony while filming scenes for The Walking Dead.

A STUNTMAN has died after falling from an 8m-high balcony while filming scenes for The Walking Dead.

John Bernecker died on Friday at an Atlanta hospital.

The 33-year-old, who had also done stunt work in Black Panther, Logan, Get Out and The Fate of the Furious, was surrounded by his family.

“We are saddened to report John, a talented stuntman forus, suffered serious injuries from a tragic accident on set,” a spokesman for production company AMC said. “We are keeping John and his family in our thoughts and prayers.”
