The Flight Attendant season 2 trailer drops
Kaley Cuoco’s buzzy series The Flight Attendant is finally returning with its second season, as the US actress reveals what viewers can expect.
The trailer for The Flight Attendant’s second season has dropped, with new episodes set to premiere in weeks.
Kaley Cuoco’s popular HBO Max dark comedy, which debuted its first series in 2020 and streams locally on Binge, is set to land on the platform April 21 with a double-episode premiere.
The spicy two-minute trailer sees the return of flight attendant Cassie Bowden (Cuoco), who is now sober and living in LA where she’s also side-hustling with a small gig for the CIA.
In an interview with Foxtel Magazine, the 36-year-old Emmy nominee teases the chaos to come for Cassie, who over-estimates her “teeny-tiny” job with the intelligence agency and lands herself in hot water after inadvertently witnessing a murder.
“She’s a CIA asset, which is a very small job. This is not some sort of agent; she is a teeny-tiny asset. But she seems to get confused as to what is needed from her and gets herself stuck in a situation that she should not be in,” Cuoco says.
“I was very clear when we decided we wanted to do a second season that I didn’t want Cassie to all of a sudden be, like, an amazing FBI agent.
“She makes all the wrong decisions on what you’re not supposed to do when you become sober, and she’s going to learn very quickly that it’s not as easy as she thought.”
Jumping on-board for the second season is Oscar-nominee Sharon Stone, who will play Cassie’s estranged mother, Lisa Bowden.

Former Big Bang Theory star Cuoco shared the exciting news with her fans on social media in January. “I can finally share this news … Hi Mom, I [love] you. Sharon Stone seriously what life am I living?!”
In addition to Cuoco and Stone, returning series regulars include Zosia Mamet, Griffin Matthews, Deniz Akdeniz and Rosie Perez, while newcomers include Mo McRae, Callie Hernandez and JJ Soria.
The Flight Attendant returns to Binge with a double episode premiere on April 21, with the eight-episode season continuing with two new episodes on April 28, followed by one episode weekly concluding May 26.
