The streaming giant took to Twitter to five fans a first glimpse, captioning the snaps: “A first look at the epic conclusion. The Crown Part 2 debuts on the 14th of December.”

Middleton rocked the sheer gown during a 2002 charity fashion show at the University of St. Andrews, and now the moment has been recreated as part of the final series of The Crown.

The Princess was a first-year art history major at University of St. Andrews in 2002 when she volunteered to walk in a campus charity fashion show dubbed “The Art of Seduction.”

William, who was also a student at the university, happened to be sitting in the audience, and the rest is history.

They began dating a year later, and have gone on to become two of the UK’s most beloved royals.

The designer, Charlotte Todd, previously shared it wasn’t her decision to put Middleton in such a revealing dress.

“I don’t know if Kate chose to wear this dress or if someone put her in the dress,” she told CNN.

“So, I don’t know if it was her intention to be there in her underwear in front of the prince.”

Meanwhile, the remaining episodes of The Crown are set to pick up shortly after where Part One left off; exploring the aftermath of Princess Diana’s tragic death.

The series will follow Prince William as he tries to integrate back into life at Eton while monarchy rides out a wave of negative public opinion.

Meanwhile, as she reaches her Golden Jubilee, the Queen will reflect on the future of the monarchy with the marriage of Charles and Camilla and the beginning of a new Royal fairytale in William and Kate.

The second half of the show’s final season arrives on Netflix on December 14th.
