Spoiler alert! Here’s who dies in The White Lotus season three finale

WARNING! Major White Lotus spoilers ahead. Read on to find out exactly who dies in today’s epic season finale for the hit show.

WARNING! MAJOR WHITE LOTUS SEASON THREE FINALE SPOILERS BELOW.

Ever since the season opened 10 weeks ago with the sounds of gunshot and a brief sighting of at least one dead body, fans have been driven wild with speculation: Just who dies on the season finale of The White Lotus?

We won’t spoil every character arc in the 90-minute finale, which has just dropped on Max, Binge and Foxtel, but we will answer that one question for anyone who can’t wait to watch.

The final minutes of the season finale take place on the grounds of The White Lotus hotel (these scenes were actually filmed at the Anantara Mai Khao Phuket), and suddenly take a violent turn when Rick (Walton Goggins) spies hotel owner Sritala (Patravadi Mejudhon) and her husband Jim (Scott Glenn). All season long, Rick has been toying with the idea of taking violent revenge on Jim, who he believes killed his father many years ago in a dispute over land.

Rick’s decision doesn’t end well.

Rick finally takes his chance, pulling out a gun he’d procured earlier in the season and shooting Jim dead in front of his wife and horrified hotel guests.

Rick explains to Sritala that he’d just killed the man who “killed his father.”

A hysterical Sritala then drops a plot twist: “He’s your father – he told me, he’s your father.”

Rick doesn’t have much time to process that information, because Srita and Jim’s personal guards start shooting at him (bit late, guys).

He takes cover and shoots back, somewhat improbably managing to shoot both of them dead (at least one falls into the hotel pond – presumably the dead body we saw floating by in episode one).

A very Star Wars plot twist.

Having just shot and presumably killed three people, Rick takes a breather, but turns around to find that his beloved girlfriend Chelsea (Aimee Lou Wood) was caught in the crossfire and is lying on the ground, bleeding from a gunshot wound.

Hotel security guard Gaitok (Tayme Thapthimthong), forever nailing it at his job, arrives on the scene, gun in hand (again: Bit late, Gaitok).

You didn’t really stick the landing on this one, Rick.

By this point, Rick has picked up his ailing, possibly already dead girlfriend, and is walking away from the scene with her in his arms.

Hotel owner Sritala screams at her employ to shoot and kill Rick – and he follows her orders. Rick and Chelsea fall into the water together, both bleeding out from their gunshot wounds.

So, that’s five deaths: Jim, Rick, Chelsea and two private security guards.

What happens to the rest of the characters during the feature-length finale? You’ll have to watch to find out.
