Paramount+ launch: Nine TV shows and movies to watch on new streaming service
Are you ready for yet another new streaming service, because it’s here. And it has a new Mark Wahlberg movie you won’t find anywhere else.
Wait, what, another streaming platform?
Technically, Paramount+ is not a new one. Rather, it’s a relaunch of 10 All Access, a subscription streaming service Channel 10 debuted almost three years ago.
However, it’s clear Channel 10 is investing a lot more into Paramount+ given the bevy of new TV shows and movies flooding onto the platform. You’ve probably seen the promos running on 10’s free-to-air network, with the stars and peaks of Paramount’s familiar logo.
With 15-plus streaming platforms crying out for attention and money (Paramount+ is $8.99 a month or $89.99 a year), it’s a tough choice for Australian families as to whether or not they have the time and money to add another one into their rotation.
But if you are in the market, Paramount+ is live from today on a variety of platforms including Apple TV, Google TV, Fetch TV, Telstra TV, Sony TVs, Amazon Fire TV and on smartphones and tablets.
If you were an existing 10 All Access customer, the apps have been decommissioned and you’ll need to download Paramount+, but your login details remain the same.
Here are the TV and movie highlights for Paramount+ at launch, while past that you’ll find a full list of all the TV shows and films available today, compiled by Always Be Watching’s Dan Barrett.
