Official American Horror Story: Delicate trailer shows Kim Kardashian nail debut acting role

The official trailer for the new season of American Horror Story has been released, marking Kim Kardashian’s acting debut.

The official trailer for the next instalment of the hit anthology series, American Horror Story: Delicate, has been released.

After months of teasing viewers with images from the new cast, which features Kim Kardashian, Cara Delevingne and Emma Roberts, BINGE finally dropped the trailer for the highly anticipated Season 12 of the FX series, which premieres on the platform on September 21.

There has been much speculation that the series will be a modern day version of the classic 1968 horror film Rosemary’s Baby, and the trailer now confirms this.

In the footage, viewers see Roberts portray Anna Victoria Alcott, an actress who wants nothing more than to start a family amid her multiple failed attempts of IVF.

When she finally gets her wish while also experiencing a career high with buzz surrounding her recent film, Anna becomes paranoid that something may be targeting her life and sabotaging her quest for motherhood.

The trailer also features many scenes featuring Kardashian who plays Siobhan Walsh, an ageing actress who has her own health issues but gives her protégé Anna some advice on career and motherhood.

“You are an A-list star now. Focus on the good,” Siobhan tells Anna, who feels gaslighted by those around her.

Season 12 – which will be released in two parts – also stars Zachary Quinto, Michaela Jaé Rodriguez, Annabelle Dexter-Jones and Matt Czuchry, who plays Roberts’ onscreen husband.

This series marks Kardashian’s big acting debut – and in a Twitter Q&A with fans in June, she could barely contain her excitement.

“It’s gonna be gooooooodddd!!!! And scary!” she teased. “It’s the most fun!!!! I’m having the best time!!!”

In a statement with The Hollywood Reporterin April, series creators Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk said they were thrilled to have Kardashian on board.

“Kim is among the biggest and brightest television stars in the world and we are thrilled to welcome her to the AHS family,” Murphy said.

“Emma and I are excited about collaborating with this true force in the culture.”
