Netflix has swung the axe on several of its titles, announcing the cancellation of two live-action streaming series as well as three adult-oriented animated shows.

Popular fantasy series Shadow and Bone will not return for a third season, after its second debuted on the streamer earlier this year.

And another show that debuted recently, the beauty influencer comedy Glamorous (starring Sex and the City’s Kim Cattrall), will not see a second season.

Animated comedies Agent Elvis, Farzar and Captain Fall have also been axed after one season.

The news comes in the wake of the SAG-AFTRA strike ending last week; Deadline reports that networks and streamers are currently “evaluating the impact” the seven-month shutdown will have on them going forward.

The news comes after a star of one of Netflix’s biggest hit shows announced he was quitting earlier this week. Bobby Berk, one-fifth of the “Fab Five” on Queer Eye, publicly announced this week that his upcoming eighth season of the show would be his last.

Berk said the decision to leave had “not been easy” but had been “necessary.”

The Wrap reported last year that Netflix had ousted the head of its animation department, Phil Rynda, along with several staff members and in-production projects.

Netflix has cancelled various shows with cult viewerships in recent years. Tuca & Bertie, One Day at a Time, GLOW, Sense8, Lady Dynamite, The Baby-Sitters Club, I Am Not OK With This and Teenage Bounty Hunters are among the Netflix titles that have been axed amid protests from fans.
