Love Me reveals season two premiere date and first look photos
If you’ve been waiting for the new season of Love Me, you’re in luck. It’s tantalisingly soon.
Binge* has revealed the premiere date of the second season of acclaimed Australian drama, Love Me.
The six-part series will return on April 6, with all episodes available at once.
The second instalment picks up nine months after the season one finale, navigating the challenges and excitement of new romances becoming more settled and permanent.
Love Me debuted in December 2021 and was hailed for its complex portrayals of love at different life stages. The story follows the Mathieson family, including widow Glen (Hugo Weaving), career-driven Clara (Bojana Novakovic) and the Aaron (William Lodder), a young man still finding his place in the world.
The series also stars Heather Mitchell, who won an industry-voted Logie for Most Outstanding Supporting Actress, Bob Morley, Mitzi Ruhlmann, Shalom Brune-Franklin and Celia Pacquola.
Morley said, “It was heartwarming to see Australian audiences fall in love with season one and I can’t wait for them to see how the story of the Mathiesons develops. If season one was about falling in love, season two is learning how to nurture love amid life's ups and downs.”
Love Me has also released the first-look images for the new season.
The show is produced by Warner Bros International in association with VicScreen. The producer was Nicole O’Donohue and it was written by Leon Ford, Tamara Asmar, Adele Vuko and Celia Pacquola.
