The series is set eight years after the website went dark following Dan Humphrey’s big reveal in the 2012 finale, with a new shady blogger at the helm setting her sights on fresh faces.

It’s executive produced by Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage, the original creators and showrunners who made a bona fide star of Blake Lively, and brought us the television chemistry masterpiece that was Blair Waldorf (Leighton Meester) and Chuck Bass (Ed Westwick).

New episodes will hit Binge weekly on Thursdays.

There are six episodes in the series, with the final one airing on August 12.

The second half of the season – comprising of four episodes – will be released later this year.
