Cameron Daddo and a slew of Aussie stars prepare to star in a new travel series that takes viewers to the most in-demand places in the world.

BINGE and Foxtel release new travel series Luxury Escapes The World’s Best Holidays

Our favourite Aussie celebrities are set to play travel guide in the exciting new program, Luxury Escapes: The World’s Best Holidays.

The brand-new travel show premieres on BINGE and Foxtel on August 29 and will showcase some of the world’s best destinations brought to you by a selection of the country’s much-loved TV talent.

The likes of Natalie Bassingthwaighte, Rebecca Gibney, Neale Whitaker and Jane Hall will feature in the 12-episode series, with each star taking viewers on an awe-inspiring tour around the world in places such as Santorini, Vienna, South Africa and the Maldives.

In the premiere episode, beloved actor Cameron Daddo and popular The Living Room host and chef Miguel Maestre take the travel wheel and explore the Italian countryside of Tuscany.

Daddo tells news.com.au that he was quite fond of his travel buddy and his zest for life.

“The award for THE most enthusiastic travel partner goes to Miguel Maestre!!” Daddo said. “His energy is contagious and his general passion for life makes him so fun to be around.”

A highlight is certainly their lunch date in an olive grove on the grounds of the unique Como Castello del Nero hotel.

The place it so beautiful, Daddo hopes to one day take his wife of 32 years, Alison Brahe, and their three kids to the region.

“This was my first time in Tuscany and ever since we got back from filming I’ve been trying to figure out a way to get back there with Ali and our family as soon as we can,” he said.

Episode 1 also sees Daddo and Maestre stopping off in Austria where they check out a luxurious 12th century Tuscan castle and hop aboard a five-star river cruise along Austria’s Danube river.

They were even invited to conduct an orchestra in the capital, Vienna.

“Watching Miguel conduct an orchestra in Vienna was magic at work,” Daddo recalled.

“Oh, I can’t not include our day riding vespers around Tuscany and eating a sumptuous meal of meats, truffles, cheeses and bread while sipping on vino in an olive grove was pretty spesh too… c’mon?!!

The series will also see Heather Mitchell from the acclaimed Foxtel series Love Me and Jane Hall from Wentworth play hosts as they explore other in-demand locations.
