What went wrong for Bachelorette’s Kayne ‘Kanye’ Buik?

IT WAS game over for ‘gimmick guy’ Kayne on The Bachelorette, but the novice rapper swears there’s only one thing he regrets about his time with Sam.

On The Bachelorette: It doesn't work out for Kane

WAS it the Frosty Fruit, the failed yoga headstand, or the cringe-worthy rap that sealed ‘gimmick guy’ Kayne Buik’s Bachelorette fate?

Fans might argue it was the dreaded combination of all three stunts that had Sam Frost dangling a big question mark over her relationship with the 25-year-old Perth lad. But Kayne swears he doesn’t regret his random attempts to impress the Bachelorette — despite the amount of stick he got from the rest of the boys.

“That’s just the random spontaneity that I have most of the time,” he told news.com.au.

“She had a good laugh ... It’s all fun, I wanted to do fun stuff. Chats are good but I’m spontaneous so I do random stuff most of the time.”

The former mining electrician said he feared the worst during Wednesday night’s cocktail party after opening up to Sam about some of his insecurities.

“After the group date, there wasn’t much of a good vibe between her and I,” he admitted.

“I spoke to her honestly about guys in the house being better than me ... I didn’t feel like I was a genuine contender as such, I didn’t own a car, I’ve just been cruising, I’ve been travelling.”

Kayne said, in hindsight, he does regret opening up to the woman he was falling for because “the things we spoke about put her off a bit.”

Surprisingly, Kayne’s honest one-on-one with Sam was cut from the final edit of Wednesday night’s episode, never seeing the light of day.

As the youngest Bachelor bloke in the house (along with Davey), Kayne said Sam was “100 per cent unpredictable” during his time on the show.

“I think she’s going for someone older, some of these guys have got 10 years experience on me.

“I didn’t know what she was thinking, to tell you the honest truth.”

Despite lucking out with Sam, Kayne said he cherished his time in the mansion. So much so, after being eliminated, he took himself to a tattoo studio and got a small red rose on his right wrist.

“It signifies a massive part of my life, it’s the biggest thing I’ve done and will do until I have kids and the tattoo reminds be of the fun times.”

“Yo. Look at me now, sitting in front of a perfect ten.” MAKE IT STOP.

With only six Bachelor boys remaining, the stakes are higher than ever. The Bachelorette continues Thursday night, 7.30pm on Ten.
