LIZ Hurley just may have been ‘the one’ for Shane Warne, who has declared he has never got on so well with any other female, including his former wife Simone.

Warne has declared to his fellow campers on I’m A Celebrity ... Get Me Out Of Here! that his former fiancee said likewise about him.

“Without trying to be funny, I’ve never got along any better with any female in my life and she (Hurley) said I was the best she had ever got along with,” Warne said.

You could almost sense a touch of sadness in Warne’s delivery that they’re not still together.

He spoke about how well they got along and even though Hurley has been married and had a long-term relationship with actor Hugh Grant, he said she was very glowing in her appraisal about their time together.

“She was married, she dated Hugh for ages, she said ...’You’re the easiest person I’ve ever got along with’.” The 46-year-old said they remain friends and his three children remain in touch with her 13-year-old son Damian, whose father is wealthy US businessman Steve Bing.

He mentioned there was an awkward moment when the children all first met because, before he introduced his children to Hurley, they had coincidentally watched one of her movies.

Warnie has displayed a surprising candour about his past relationships on the show.

“We were out on holiday and the four of us, three kids and myself, and we had to choose a movie that night, and it was before it got out (that we were seeing each other), and I didn’t tell them, and they chose Austin Powers,” Warne said.

“They watched the movie and that sort of stuff and I thought ‘how am I going to do this?’

“So I waited a bit longer ... then when they had to meet them they were all nervous and she was nervous, and I met her son.

“Her son and my three kids still talk, her and I still talk.”
