Warnie breaks down in tears on I’m A Celeb

THE cricket legend is an absolute mess in tonight’s episode as he’s pushed to his very limits.

Warnie vs Spider - The King Of Spin Faces His Greatest Fear

SHANE Warne is brought to tears tonight when he comes face-to-face with the feared baboon tarantula on I’m A Celebrity … Get Me Out Of Here!

The King of Spin has talked openly of his crippling arachnophobia and some have even speculated that he has a “no spider clause” in his contract.

Tonight Shane and the other four celebrities are offered chocolate and ice cream spiders — at a high price. In order to receive their tempting treats, each must hold a large, furry, venomous baboon tarantula, named Britney, in their hand for 30 seconds.

We don’t blame you, Warnie.

Renowned for their aggressive behaviour, and quick to bite, baboon tarantulas can grow up to 20 centimetres in leg span. While their venom is not deadly, it is enough to cause sharp pain.

Laurina Fleure, Brendan Fevola, Paul “The Chief” Harragon and Anthony Callea conquer the challenge. But if Shane cannot hold the spider, none of his camp mates will receive the desserts.

Face-to-face with his greatest phobia, a trembling Shane is overcome with tears as he attempts to work up the courage to hold the terrifying tarantula in his hand.

Find out if Warnie conquers his fear once and for all in tonight’s episode, 7:30pm on Ten.
