The Voice Australia: Boy George and Delta Goodrem clash

MIFFED that he didn’t get a chance to give feedback to one of the contestants, Boy George had a tongue-in-cheek crack at Delta Goodrem on The Voice.

THEY claimed they were joking but there was definitely some heat in a verbal clash between Delta Goodrem and Boy George on The Voice.

The two coaches had a sassy war of words on the Channel Nine talent show tonight after the Aussie singer was the only coach to turn her chair for Victorian contestant, Anthony Sharpe.

As Sharpe left the stage after joining Team Delta, Boy George let it be known that he wasn’t impressed he wasn’t given an opportunity to provide feedback to the contestant.

Boy George: “Hey Delta! I know I’m down the end but I actually didn’t get a chance to say something.”

Delta: “Sorry my love. You can say anything you want anytime. I’m not precious.”

Boy George: “I might have had some pearls of wisdom, darling.”

Delta: “Oh well I’d love to hear your pearls of wisdom, George.”

Um, was Boy George giving Delta the finger during their clash?

Boy George: “Don’t worry, I know the runnings now.”

Delta: “Well maybe you should have hit that buzzer, George.”

Boy George: “No, that doesn’t necessarily always have to be the process, as you know.”

Delta: “Please, teach me your ways, I’ve just got here,” Delta said, having been a coach on four previous seasons of The Voice Australia.

But Boy George pulled rank on Delta and ended the exchange with a stunningly sassy comment.

Boy George: “Don’t argue with the Princess of Australia. Or the Queen of England,” he said, referring to himself.

Game, set, match, Boy George.
