The real jobs and lives of Australia’s Gogglebox stars
While the stars of Gogglebox are well recognised thanks to their roles on the hit Foxtel show, the cast live very normal lives outside of filming.
They may appear on TV screens around the country weekly, but the stars of fan favourite show Gogglebox live normal lives when they’re not filming.
From teachers, to retail managers and an airline company executive, most of the cast have full time jobs outside of their shooting obligations on the Foxtel reality show, which finally returns to screens on LifeStyle tonight at 7.30pm.
Here is what some of the cast do for a living:
SARAH MARIE, MATTY FAHD AND JAD
The married couple both just started their own children’s fashion marketplace, TMRW Kids.
Made for newborns to four-year-olds, the online boutique sells clothes and accessories from a variety of different brands, with an overall environmentally conscious mantra.
Their son Malik has started his career early, fulfilling the role as one of the toddler models.

Outside of that, Sarah Marie, a popular beauty and mum blogger, is also a professional makeup artist who owns a hair and makeup agency, while Matty is a marketing and communications director.
Their third wheel bestie Jad just sold his business, a cafe, and is preparing to open up a new cafe and events space in Sydney’s Parramatta Park.
TIM AND LEANNE
Sibling duo Tim and Leanne are completely inseparable outside of work.
But while at work they have their hands full, with 31-year-old Leanne an operations manager, while 42-year-old Tim is a retail technology consultant.
But perhaps his most rewarding role is his work as the marketing manager for The Pinnacle Foundation, which awards scholarships to students in the LGBTIQ+ community.
“My day-to-day responsibilities includes analysing web/social media/donation/campaign data, filming and editing videos, crafting EDMs, social media management, CRM/CMS maintenance, ICT support to our national volunteers and the general catch all for any digital and social media tasks,” Tim said.
“I’ve had a privileged upbringing, a loving and supportive family and friends network. This is my opportunity to give back to my community which still struggles with discrimination and hate.”
THE DALTON FAMILY
Mum of the family Kate Dalton has a job many would lust over.
The wife of Matt Dalton, who is a healthcare company director, is an airline trade account manager for Cathay Pacific.
When it’s not a global pandemic, the mother-of-two regularly posts happy snaps from enviable locations around the world.
As for the girls, Millie is currently studying a double degree in Commerce and Arts while her younger sister Holly is studying Media and Communications.

The three generations of women in the Silbery family bring a wealth of life experiences, Grandma Emily ‘Emmie’, 91, is an ex-nurse, while mum Kerry is a retired teacher.

ANASTASIA AND FAYE
The fan favourites lead quite busy lives outside their Gogglebox commitments.
Mum-of-two Anastasia is a real estate agent, and regularly posts buyer and design tips on Instagram, while Faye is an executive legal assistant and mother of two boys.
In March last year, Faye took to social media where she said she works for a firm almost two hours away from where she lives.
“Now is a good time to make sure things are in place such as your will, power of attorney and medical treatment decision maker. Please feel free to msg me and I’ll steer you in the right direction,” she wrote.
LEE AND KEITH
Original Goggleboxers Lee and Keith are well loved among viewers for their hilariously honest relationship.
After more than 30 years working in the banking industry, Lee is enjoying some down time being a grandmother to her first grandchild Riley.

THE DELPECHITRA FAMILY

Eldest son Wendel is a teacher at a Catholic boys’ high school, while Vestal is following in her big brother’s footsteps and studying to be a teacher. Between prac teaching and studying she is a cheerleader for the Penrith Panthers.
Young Ethan is completing his last year of high school.
MICK AND DI
Mick and Di have been happily married for 53 years, and with that level of commitment it’s no surprise they both share the same career interests.
The pair are art dealers, with Di, a former model, and Mick, an ex high flying advertising executive, giving up their jobs to pursue their passion for art.
