The Project forgets to bleep f-bomb during prerecorded Noel Gallagher interview
WHEN The Project booked Noel Gallagher for an interview, it was wise to prerecord the chat with the salty musician. But they forgot to bleep a big, ugly “f*ck”.
WHEN The Project booked Oasis frontman Noel Gallagher for an interview, it was a wise idea to prerecord the chat with the salty musician.
But it seems whoever edited the interview missed one of the “f*cks” Gallagher dropped during the chat, and it rolled out on air in all its (morning) glory.
Asked what he enjoyed about not releasing his new music on a major label, Gallagher replied sarcastically.
“I enjoy the lack of money that I make,” he said over video link from Byron Bay. “I enjoy the lack of record sales, I also enjoy the lack of recognition and the lack of awards that I receive.
“Quite frankly, my mantelpiece was chock-a-block with the f*cking things. It is nice to take a back seat. I enjoy not working with people in record labels who are, in fact, as we all know f*cked. It is nice to get away from that mob.”
After the interview played out, the wide-eyed panel were quick to acknowledge that they “may have missed ‘bleeping’ one of the times”.
“Apologies for that. I don’t do all of the bleeping. It is not my fault. If you have just joined us, here’s what’s making news ...” host Carrie Bickmore said, before powering on with her news bulletin.
Viewers were quick to pick up on the big F.
“Whoopsadaisies. ‘Chockablock of the f*cking things’. Hehehe,” @clovertouchaus wrote.
“Got to love a F*Bomb in prime time,” Matt Basely added.
“One rude word got past the censor, (not that I actually care)!” Shane Matthew Neave wrote.
Channel Ten have been contacted for comment.
