With the second season of the show starting on Monday, we’ve compiled all the clues about which stars are hiding behind the masks.

First look at Channel 10’s Masked Singer

Australia, get your thinking caps on.

The second season of The Masked Singer kicks off on August 10 and Channel 10 has already released a bunch of clues about which stars are hiding behind the masks.

This year there’ll be 12 new celebrities hiding behind 12 new costumes and one of them will be a triple Olympian, one will be an actor from an Emmy-winning series and two will be world cup winners.

WHO ARE THE JUDGES?

The judging panel will look a little different this year because Lindsay Lohan is unable to re-enter Australia due to COVID-19 border restrictions.

Lohan will be replaced on the panel by comedian Urzila Carlson. The Have You Been Paying Attention regular will join returning judges Jackie O, Hughesy and Dannii Minogue.

WHEN DOES IT START?

The Masked Singer Australia is set to premiere on Monday, August 10 at 7.30pm on Channel 10.

ALL THE CLUES THAT HAVE BEEN RELEASED SO FAR

Channel 10 has released a number of clues about who the masked singers are.

So far they’ve teased this season will feature Hollywood actors, a big name from an Emmy-winning series, a triple Olympian, recording artists with 22 platinum and 11 gold records, multiple Logie winners and two world cup winners.

Let us know your guesses in the comments section below.

WHO IS ECHIDNA?

Clue: “I only know one way to go. Pedal to the metal. From start to finish.”

Echidna’s snippet is probably the most comprehensive clue bundle so far, yet the most difficult celeb to take a stab at.

One frustrated fan echoed the sentiment with their comment: “OK this is driving me nuts. There are 5 records and a cat in a cradle. I can’t quite make out the symbol on his T-shirt? All of that and … I got nothin’.”

We feel you.

So far people have guessed that it could be racing enthusiast Grant Denyer or former Olympic sprinter turned race car driver John Steffensen.

WHO IS CACTUS?

Clue: The spoken clue is: “When they hear my voice, they’ll be yelling ‘You grow girl’,” but in an additional teaser we’re told: “I’m dangerous, but I would rather keep that private.” Hmm.

Hopeful fans have tossed guesses of Sia into the ring, while others suggest it could be Ruby Rose given the caption: “She may prickly at times but this mask has a flowery personality!”

As for “smaller” guesses, we’ve got Charlie from Hi 5 and actress Lucy Durack.

WHO IS FRILLNECK?

Clue: “I’ve always been a stand up guy, who hangs with birds of a feather.”

While it might sound like a fairly easy clue (C’mon, Ten!), fans having a stab in the comments have already pointed out that a “stand up guy” could be any one of Australia’s beloved comics.

The fact that many of them spend a bit of time on the network makes things even trickier.

So far, the top-liked suggestion is Sam Pang, given he’s not only a comedian, but hosts Nova 100 in Melbourne with Chrissie Swan. Clever.

Other guesses included Beau Ryan, Ed Kavalee and Tommy Little.

WHO IS DRAGONFLY?

Clue: “I may be classically trained, but I’m famous for some other moves.”

It’s not much to go on, but people have already started guessing on social media with some suggesting it could be Kate Miller-Heidke.

The singer-songwriter, who represented Australia at Eurovision in 2019, was classically trained before forging a career in alternative pop music.

Other guesses include Lucy Durack and Dami Im.

WHO IS WIZARD?

Clue: “My childhood neighbours hated my singing voice - but who’s having the last laugh now!”

Could it be a former Neighbours star? Some fans have speculated it could be Jason Donovan.

Another fan suggested it could be Pitch Perfect star Rebel Wilson.

WHO IS QUEEN?

Clue: “My sporting pedigree can’t be denied … and that doesn’t just take the cake.”

Could it be a TV chef, or is that too obvious? Guesses online so far include Justine Schofield (who used to date sports presenter Matt Doran), Roxy Jacenko, Michelle Payne, Marina Prior and Kate Miller-Heidke.

In a teaser clip for the show, after hearing Queen sing, Hughesy said: “That’s a professional singer.”

WHO IS HAMMERHEAD?

Clue: “I’ve never started a fight … but I always nail them in the end!”

Jackie O, who is a judge on the series, had a stab on her KIIS FM breakfast show and guessed that this could be former NRL star turned boxer Paul Gallen.

Other guesses include Tom Williams and Jamie Durie.

WHO IS SLOTH

Clue: “I have quite the way with words, even when they’re not mine.”

WHO IS BUSHRANGER?

Clue: “I’m not afraid to take the gloves off and get my hands a little dirty.”

So far guesses include Gardening Australia’s Costa Georgiadis and boxer Danny Green.

WHO IS KITTEN?

Clue: “You wouldn’t say I’m shy … maybe that’s why I feel the cold so often.”

So far people seem to think it could be winter Olympian such as Lydia Lassila.

WHO IS PUPPET?

Clue: “I’ve had my brush with royalty … and a long time in a court of law.”

WHO IS GOLDFISH?

Clue: “I’m not just gold, I’m quite precious … and a lot tougher than I look.”

People have speculated it could be professional boxer Lauryn Eagle.

The Masked Singer Australia premieres on Monday, August 10 at 7.30pm on Channel 10
