The Block stars Leah and Ash finally sell home after Channel 9 auction
Block stars Leah and Ash have finally sold the home they built on the Channel 9 show, as their profit is revealed.
After a dismal The Block auction outcome for Leah and Ash, the couple’s home has finally sold.
The house they built in Hampton East, Victoria, was the only property not to sell during the Channel 9 show finale in November.
After two months on the market, the Brisbane couple’s ‘House 2’ has gone for $3.125 million, netting them a decent $155,000 profit.
This amount would’ve placed them third if it had sold during the show’s final episode, behind House 4 (Steph and Gian) and House 5 (Eliza and Liberty).
“We can finally reveal our Block House just got snatched up by a family ….to live in!,” the pair wrote on Instagram.
“From the very beginning, our aim was not just to build, but to pour our hearts into every corner, hoping to find someone who would appreciate our creation.
“It’s been a tough few months as we’ve had a few close calls with this sale. Despite the challenges and the doubts, we have remained steadfast in our vision and we cannot tell you how relieved we are that our dreams for this house is finally a reality.
“Now, as we say goodbye to our Block adventure, we’re feeling grateful and proud.”
Leah and Ash were the last couple to go to auction during the finale.
The couple’s reserve was set at $2.97m, with bidding opening at $2.9m and immediately stalling.
After the previous couple, Kristy and Brett, made a measly $65,000 profit, Leah and Ash quickly decided to pass it in, hoping they’d have a better change of making money outside of auction.
THE BLOCK 2023 RESULTS:
Steph and Gian, House 4:

Reserve of $3.25 million, sold for $4.3 million = $1.05 million profit
Kyle and Leslie, House 1:
