‘What just happened?’: Steph’s sassy exit from The Bachelor stuns fans
HER time in the mansion may have been entirely forgettable, but Steph’s actions after being dumped by the Honey Badger will go down in Bachelor history.
LIKE so many of the women who get booted off The Bachelor in the early days, we’d barely even heard Steph’s name until Osher Gunsberg told her she’d missed out on a rose from Nick ‘The Honey Badger’ Cummins last night.
Most viewers were still asking “Who?” when Osher waltzed into the ceremony to sadly tell Steph and Aleksandra their time on the show was up, and while Aleksandra managed a graceful exit, Steph clearly had other ideas.
RECAP: Bachelor stalker’s cruel heartbreak
Steph, 23, looked Nick straight in the eye and took a deep breath before channelling the thoughts of every female after a bad date.
“I can’t believe I shaved my legs for this,” she told him with a smirk, before marching out of the room.
“Fair enough,” the shocked Bachelor muttered to her retreating back.
And just like that — a new reality TV hero was born.
OMG who the hell was that?? My new Queen!!

Elsewhere in the episode, resident “mean girl” Cat was brutally rejected as she went in for a kiss with Nick during their first one-on-one date.
“I feel like Nick was giving me every indication he wanted to make out with me, there was that sexual chemistry,” she told the camera beforehand.
However, when she grabbed him by the neck and asked with a grin, “Am I gonna tempt you?”, he responded with a panicked peck on her cheek and viewers were left wincing in horror.
The keenest bean of this season, Cass, was also left fighting tears during the cocktail party as practically every other contestant managed to have private time with Nick, while she watched from the sidelines.
The Bachelor airs Wednesdays and Thursdays at 7.30pm on Ten.
