The Bachelors’ winner Alesia admits she’s ‘kissed’ people besides Jed since filming

They’re the last Bachelors couple standing – but a stunning on-air confession this morning won’t exactly fill their fans with hope.

They’re the only couple left standing – but the winner of The Bachelors’ Jed’s final rose has cast doubt over their future.

During Sunday night’s finale, three happy couples rode off into the reality TV sunset – one of whom ended up engaged.

Just hours later, it was revealed two of them were already toast – with Felix and Jess and Thomas and Leah all going their separate ways after filming wrapped last year.

Jed and Alesia were fans’ last chance at a happy ending, telling 10 Play they were “taking it day by day”.

“We’re … excited to actually just have a coffee with each other and live a normal life after this,” Jed said, pointing out that they haven’t actually been able to spend time in public together so as not to spoil the ending of the season.

However, in an interview with 2DayFM’s Hughesy, Ed and Erin on Monday morning, Alesia admitted she’d “kissed a few (other) people” since the show ended six months ago.

“But (Jed has) known straight up that I have,” she insisted.

“That’s OK, given the context, I think we’ve done quite well if that’s all it is, to be honest,” Jed replied.

“There was no malice at all.”

The pair explained that they decided to pump the brakes on their romance and have some breathing space due to everything being “so fast-tracked” during filming.

“We were on the show for seven weeks, and then from the rendezvous, we were like, ‘OK, let’s be together, let’s make this official’,” Alesia said.

“Then there was stuff going on between then, Jed had some things going on, so we just said, ‘let’s take a step back until we have the opportunity to be together properly.”

Jed and Alesia’s final scenes together on The Bachelors hit an awkward snag when Jed – who had already agreed with Alesia that they were in no way ready to be engaged – decided to propose anyway, forcing her to turn him down.

However, they decided to give things a crack anyway (with no impending wedding).

Elsewhere in the finale, Jess finally dumped her boyfriend Damien and was therefore free to go all in on a relationship with Felix – but the relationship “fizzled” as they tried to continue their relationship off-air.

Speaking to 10 Play afterwards, Jess pointed to Felix’s communication skills as a factor, claiming: “We’re on different levels in that sense.”

Sadly, arguably the most promising couple, Thomas and Leah, were also revealed to have gone their separate ways after filming ended, despite getting engaged on the show.

Thomas later told 10 Play that they only lasted “two or three months” in the real world.

“We had lots of love and care for each other but we weren’t compatible and compatibility is so important,” he said, while Leah admitted she was “devastated” it hadn’t worked out.
