The Bachelors Australia couple Luke and Ellie suggest abrupt split

The latest Bachelor couple Luke and Ellie appear to have abruptly split, despite moving in together just weeks ago.

They were the only couple still together from the latest season of The Bachelors, and now, it seems the show’s strongest duo have abruptly split.

Former Rugby League player Luke Bateman, who starred as one of three bachelors on the 2023 season of the Channel 10 dating show, has suddenly deleted several photos he had shared with his girlfriend Ellie Rolfe on Instagram.

The pair have also unfollowed each other on the social media app, a move which comes a month after they revealed they were moving in together.

Queensland-based Luke did keep publicity photos of Ellie on his page, while Ellie is yet to delete any loved-up snaps from her socials.

Fans took to the comment section of Luke and Ellie’s most recent posts, speculating the two had gone their separate ways.

“Where are all the photos with Ellie? Don’t tell me that you guys broke up?,” one asked.

Another user wrote, “Have you broken up?!? They’re not following each other.”

Luke deleted photos of Ellie from his Instagram page.

Ellie is yet to delete happy snaps, but has unfollowed Luke on social media.

A third chimed in, “He’s deleted all her photos, to me that’s a clear sign.”

Luke and Ellie, who said they were about to move in together on the Gold Coast in January, met during filming of the show in Melbourne in mid-2023.

The Bachelors, in its 11th season, aired over just three weeks in December.

Ellie’s last post with Luke was uploaded only two weeks ago, which showed the couple enjoying a romantic holiday at a luxury resort on the Gold Coast.

Meanwhile, the Byron Bay-based jewellery designer has been sharing photos from Melbourne Fashion Week this week.

During the finale of The Bachelors, which aired December 20, Luke chose Ellie over his runner-up Lana, telling her he had fallen in love with her.
