The Bachelor: Snezana reveals the bitchy behaviour inside the auditions

FORMER Bachelor winner Snezana has lifted the lid on the show’s ridiculous audition process, including the embarrassing stunts the women are told to do.

THINGS get pretty bitchy inside the auditions for The Bachelor.

Snezana Markoski, who was picked by Bachelor Sam Wood as the winner back in season three, has revealed what really goes down between the women trying out for the show.

Speaking to Kate ‘Monty’ Diamond for Show + Tell’s On the Couchseries, Snezana said things got quite confrontational when she was invited to a group audition.

“You have to look at the person next to you and give them a compliment,” Snezana revealed.

And then it gets really awkward.

“The person on the other side, [you have to] tell them something you don’t like about them.”

“So you had to tell someone in the audition, ‘I don’t like this about you?’” Monty clarified.

“Yeah, they give you a bit of time,” Snezana said.

Late last year some other Bachelor hopefuls told radio hosts Matt Tilley and Meshel Laurie what they were asked to do during their group auditions.

“They pick one girl and they have to come into the middle of the group and you have to give them a compliment, not knowing them at all,” the anonymous caller said on air.

“After that they played three different songs and you had to stand up and dance to the song that you identified with.”

The woman said she didn’t like any of the songs, which included hits by Pink and Ed Sheeran, and in the end she was forced to get up and dance to Christina Aguilera’s Dirty.

“There’s four producers taking notes and looking at you,” she explained about the awkward dance session.

But wait, there’s more.

“You had to pretend you were getting out of the limo and one of the producers pretended to be the Bachelor,” the woman said.

“You had to do the walk that they had to do when they first meet the Bachelor and then what you would say when you first met him.”

Some of the girls “had full-on planned a speech” but the mystery woman said she was too embarrassed to recall what she’d actually told the fake Bachelor.

The audition process for the upcoming seasons of both The Bachelor and The Bachelorette are currently underway around Australia.

A Network Ten spokesperson said: “Australia’s next Bachelor and Bachelorette have not yet been chosen, and we look forward to announcing their identities to the public later this year.”

Before those shows hit our screens we’ll be treated to Bachelor In Paradise which is expected to kick off on TV after I’m A Celeb has finished.

In the upcoming series, a group of The Bachelor and The Bachelorette’s most memorable contestants — among them player Michael Turnbull, implausibly beefy Apollo Jackson, and seasoned reality TV vets Keira Maguire and Laurina Fleure — are thrust together on a tropical island to drink, flirt and engage in heavy petting under secluded waterfalls.

As for Snezana Markoski and Sam Wood, they’re currently planning their wedding after they welcomed their first child together, a baby girl called Willow Wendy Wood, in October last year.
