The Bachelor runner-up Bella Varelis spills on fling with Cody Simpson

The Bachelor runner-up has opened up about rumours she had a fling with Miley Cyrus’ ex Cody Simpson and the sweet Valentine’s Day date they shared.

And it sounds like the ex-boyfriend of Miley Cyrus was quite the charmer when he had a date with The Bachelor runner-up Bella Varelis.

Until now Bella had stayed silent on rumours she’d had a fling with the Aussie singer.

But the 25-year-old has spilt the beans on the hook-up, which apparently was a “one night” thing.

“I might have had a thing with Cody, like one night, a very long, long, long time ago,” she told the Life Uncut podcast, hosted by former Bach contestants Brittany Hockley and Laura Byrne.

“He bought me a rose and then slow danced with me around Mrs Sippy in Double Bay.”

The Sydneysider met Simpson on Valentine’s Day.

“It was like one of things where you’re like, ‘this is really cute, who is this guy?’,” she added.

“Literally that was it, it was just that one night – we had a little bit of a sleepover – but no that was literally it.”

Simpson split from Cyrus in August after 10 months of dating, following her split with another Aussie hearthrob, Liam Hemsworth.

Details of Bella’s fling with Simpson emerged after someone from inside the Bach mansion leaked details.

So Dramatic! podcast host Megan Pustetto explained that Bella was very vocal about sharing the details of her hook up with the singer.

In fact, the contestant said that Bella “only dates celebs”, and while in the mansion often bragged about the many high-profile people she had dated in the past.

“So Bella was bragging in the house to the other girls that she’d hooked up with and slept with a number of A-list celebs,” Megan said.

“The contestant tells me every day Bella would bring up a new person she’d been with. She would say, ‘I hooked up with this person, I’ve slept with this guy, there were just way too many to count’. She only dates celebs.

“Bella told the girls in the mansion that she’d slept with (Cody) and had a brief fling with him while she was in LA.”

Simpson previously dated Miley Cyrus.

Bella has previously dated stars of the Bachelor franchise, including model Samuel Johnson, one of the contestants on Georgia Love’s season of The Bachelorette.

Bella also dated a contestant on the US version of The Bachelorette, Dean Michael Unglert.

The reality star defended herself on Instagram recently against the claims that she only dates “Bachie” men, saying she dated Johnson before he was on the show.

“I haven’t ‘slept around with Bachie boys’. I dated my ex before he even did the show, show people see a few dots and like to try (to) connect them when they have absolutely no reason to be connected to justified. Nevertheless, thank you for your opinion and for thinking you know me.”

Bella was dumped by Locky in a sensational finale last week that saw him choose Irena Srbinovska after telling both women he loved them.
