WHEN Alex Nation left Richie Strahan to begin a relationship with a woman, The Bachelor could’ve sat around moping.

He could’ve ate pizza every night and not exercised — lying half on the couch, half on the floor while pondering how his life got here.

But he didn’t. Instead, he grew his hair into a bob, hit the gym and somehow developed several more abs.

He’s shown off the results of his man-makeover on Instagram.

“I’ll be smiling more now that chocolate is back on the menu,” he captioned the photo, adding he was on a diet plan put together by his personal trainer.

Oh, and apparently he boxes now?

Rumours began circulating last August that Richie and Alex, who met on the 2016 series of The Bachelor, had split. The whispers were confirmed when New Idea reported the mum-of-one is now dating her Frankston Bombers WFL teammate Maegan Luxa — a 31-year-old Melbourne chef and landscaper.

Nation addressed the situation indirectly on her 88.3 Southern FM radio show while talking about the same-sex marriage plebiscite.

“We should celebrate love between people whether it is male, male and female or women and female,” she said.
