The Bachelor In Paradise star who’s banned from Sam and Tara’s wedding
WE DON’T have too many details on Bachelor In Paradise couple’s wedding yet, but one thing’s for sure — this castmate will not be there.
MOST of the Bachelor In Paradise cast were pretty chummy during their time on the show, but there’s one castmate who absolutely won’t be scoring an invite to the wedding of Sam Cochrane and Tara Pavlovic.
The couple, who got engaged during the series’ emotional finale, have revealed they’re already planning their wedding — including discussions about the guest list.
“Daniel from Canada won’t be at the wedding, I’ll tell you that,” Sam, 31, told Yahoo7Be.
“He was quite arrogant in his comments [on the show] and very un-Australian in the way that he approached.”
US Bachelorette star Daniel Maguire arrived halfway through the series, and while he was only there for 24 hours before getting the boot — he was certainly memorable.
Daniel had immediately latched on to Laurina Fleure, Nina Rolleston and Keira Maguire after entering Paradise, and privately gave them all the same spiel: That they had a “connection” that he wanted to pursue. He also had a habit of discussing his own physical assets, and how attractive he found himself.
Unsurprisingly, he was fairly unpopular with fans, but in a post-show interview with news.com.au, Nina insisted we’d gotten him all wrong.
“We’ve had months of nearly daily conversations, so I see a very different side of Daniel than probably most people do,” she said, adding that his “villain” persona was all for show.
“He makes a living off these shows, and he knows exactly what needs to be said and done to continue securing more shows in the future. He was literally on there for two days and we’re still talking about him, and that’s exactly what’s required to get on the next one ... He knows what he’s doing.”
Meanwhile, Sam also revealed to Be that he and his fiancee are now busily planning a big engagement party, so they can finally celebrate the big news they’d had to keep under wraps for so long.
However, when it comes to the actual wedding, he’s happy to take a back seat.
“I probably won’t get much say,” he joked. “But I am actually okay with that, because she’s effortlessly stylish and she’ll create something really beautiful.”
